User Group

Much has evolved in EmployeeConnect’s product suite, and it is time to get familiar with all the changes and see what is really in the market. Most importantly, you can learn from other users by seeing and hearing first-hand what they are currently doing with our applications, and how they are achieving their particular business outcomes. As part of our ongoing commitment to our clients we run regular User Group meetings in Sydney & Melbourne, and Auckland & Wellington. Within these forums we focus on:

  • Identifying the EmployeeConnect business direction as determined by our users
  • Information exchange on HR processes & best practice
  • Information exchange & problem solving forum through speakers, case studies & networking
  • Discussing enhancements, new modules & upcoming releases
  • Launching new modules & introducing new partners
  • Identifying ways to improve the EmployeeConnect experience for our clients
  • Sampling great food, wine & chocolate

Sydney User Group Wrap Up

Sydney user Group Meeting was conducted on 25th September 2008 at the WatersEdge on Pier One. With spectacular food to start off proceedings, our guests were informed about the importance of Change Management when planning and implementing any sort of systems within an organisation. A review of the year within the EmployeeConnect company was also given and a display of what to expect in our major upcoming release of EC6.

As a one year trial period of the focus group in New Zealand was a success, therefore, one suggestion was to have the first focus group in Australia in early 2009 to cover what to change or keep for the next version of EC product – Version 3.

Any feedback or ideas for the upcoming focus group are greatly welcome.


Focus Group

System Management

This focus group will be aimed at assisting the Systems Administrator to become more self-sufficient in System Management features including System Settings, Configuration, Administration, Audit, and Communications.

Talent Management

This is fast becoming the hot topic of the HR world! This focus group will be aimed at clients wanting assistance and input from fellow users in implementing the Talent Management Module. This will include setting up the Competency Library with its behaviours and Performance Management.
